Shiny - The Glimmer Of Hope !

* Shiny: The Glimmer of the Hope

                                                                This is a hard luck story about Pemba lama 32 & his wife Bhabana  Lama 30,both are visually imparted hail from Rasuwa,Yarsa ward no 8,living with their 18 months daughter Shiny near Bishal Nagar, Chandol in a rented room.
                                                                                                            For Pemba it’s hard to keep a family on such miserable condition. He is not a blind from birth. At the age of nine, he had got Typhoid then started to lose his eyes sight gradually. Because of poverty his father Pasang Chana Lama could not treat him properly. He had completed some formal music training with fully scholarship. Even then he was unable to get any job. Now a days he is worrying about his family, especially to his daughter‘s education.

* Music of Love:

Playing with flute is Pemba’s favorite job at his leisure. Now he wants to use his talent to support his family especially on her daughter’s education.

* ID card, worthless fellow:

Not providing any facilities Nepal government has just issued an ID to him. Even in public vehicles he hardly gets discount as per rules.

* The common job:

                                     Most of the time they are busy taking care of daughter Shiny which they honestly say, “The real joy on the earth.”

* Braille the boon:

                                    He can read and write on Braille after having some formal courses on it with the help of “Nepal Blind Association “

* Mirror the reflection of the life:

                                                      Playing with their daughter Shiny is like a solacing themselves in loneliness.

* Sweet cell phone:

                                     Having a cell phone is just like a down-to-earth for him especially listing music, listing songs, listing NEWS and talking to others. He says it is the boon companion to him.

* Kin to kitchenette:

                                       Preparing daily meal for his family is one of his challenging job for Pemba. He had said that nothing wrong had happened with him till date working in the kitchen.

* City Traffic:

                         It is as miserable as sin for him. Many times he had got the accidents even fracturing a leg. Crossing roads, using public vehicles not an easy job, According to Pemba, people rarely help and give any concern.

 *Mother’s nature:

Bhabana Lama, who has just completed +2 with major English and 45 days radio anchor course after getting fully scholarship from Maiti Nepal Samaj. For Bhabana looking after Shiny is the most cooling job on the Earth. She believes Shiny is the light at the end of the tunnel. She is doing whatever she can. Now she just wants some miraculous opportunity to school her daughter.

* Shiny on the move:

                                     Born with no any spoon in her mouth, she is the real hope for her parents. May she plunges into the bright side of her life from the darkness.

 They say; “Shiny is our hope, our goal, our dream. It’s all about our interest of living. She is the common sight of our blind eyes. Only she can lead us in future. We do whatever we can.”
Finally, I (photographer) just hope it’s time to take them to the Limelight through my view finder. Amen!

..Glimpses of Mt Everest 8850 m through my Nikon's view finder !

Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, who 60 years ago became the first people to reach the peak of Mt. Everest.
today, though, Everest's peak is a decidedly less lonely place. more than 3,500 people have successfully climbed the 29,029 ft. ( 8,848 m ) mountain and more than a tenth of that number scaled the peak just over the past year.
That historic success brought Nepal to the limelight of mountaineering tourism and opened a new era of adventure activities. Here are the some of mine captures over the kala Pattar summit 5550 m.!
